Women of Google+ : Hazel K
As we come across amazing women in Google+, we wanted to highlight some of them and give you the opportunity to find out how fabulous they are for yourself.
Featured G+’er : Hazel K
How did you originally get invited to Google+?
Here’s where I thank Andy Piper (IBM) and Heather Taylor (BBC) for getting me in. Both sent invites and I finally got in after 6 hours of occasionally trying that first day as registration opened and closed!
What benefits are you seeing from being in Google+?
Before this I had a challenge to meet one new person a day (kinda hard on those duvet days!) – but since joining G+ I’ve been able to talk to and meet 20/30 a day from all over the world.
The responsiveness is amazing and everyone is so open to making connections.
How does Google+ fit into your life or career?
I work on the community team for giffgaff – and I get to talk to the members in a whole new environment. It’s a lot of fun being able to experience this new social arena with them.
A particularly interesting story or thoughts you may want to add regarding Google+
I had a dream last night where Google+ had been integrated with augmentative reality and everyone was completely connected.
i.e I really need to go to bed earlier Google+ = Cheese.
