How did you originally get invited to Google+?
From a friend who also happens to be a lady.
What benefits are you seeing from being in Google+?
I love the simplicity, the instant gratification, the constant stream of media, news, comments, engagement all right there! I love the way I can interact with everyone at a level I am comfortable with, a level that corresponds to their interests and also my relationship with them. The audience amplification of Google+ is so much faster and more rewarding than Twitter or Facebook.
How does Google+ fit into your life or career?
I am a web designer who handles social media accounts for my clients. I grew up in Redmond Washington (home of Microsoft) and have been involved in technology and web development since the mid 1990′s. Google+ is my favorite social media platform, hands down and I am excited to see it grow from the ground up.
A particularly interesting story or thoughts you may want to add regarding Google+
I have over 2,135 followers already and it is steadily increasing! I love Google+ Hangouts which is surprising because I am normally too self conscious to be seen on webcam. There is something about being in a group of people displayed in smaller boxes all over your screen which makes it like a party.

I’ve worked in marketing for years, and it would happen that I end up learning the most about how to really leverage the power of social media from a natural adopter like Jilliana. That’s why I recommended her to an old colleague who was in need of a good web designer, who also knew how to tackle social media integration from what would have been an otherwise plain and non-dynamic site – you can find her site above, or here: http://www.jataliewebdesign.com/
