Google+ is bringing more organization and privacy to the web. It has a cleaner feeling then other social networks and it is easier to connect to people from all over the place.

How did you originally get invited to Google+?

From a friend.

What benefits are you seeing from being in Google+?

The layout is such a break on my eyes from Facebook. I love the options of sharing via circles and the ability to follow people you may not know personally but that you may find interesting. I also love the integration with my other Google services.

How does Google+ fit into your life or career?

So far its a little too early to tell still, but I can see the potential and I am definitely excited for it.

How did you originally get invited to Google+?

I was invited within a few days of the launch by a close friend who works at Twitter.

What benefits are you seeing from being in Google+?

I love embracing new and better ways to communicate and be social.

How does Google+ fit into your life or career?

I stay in touch with friends and other style bloggers and join conversations more easily than through other social networks. I’ve always been a fairly early adopter and like to think I will remain open-minded enough to keep embracing new technology and new ways to think throughout my life span.

A particularly interesting story or thoughts you may want to add regarding Google+

I was looking forward to the day that Facebook would get a little competition, I’ve been frustrated with it for a while. Google+ coming on the scene is refreshing.

Where can I find more information about this fabulous woman?

I’m an art director, style blogger and aficionado of all awesome things, such as my friends, music, good food, sunshine and words. I run two blogs: The House in the Clouds, a small style blog and The Places I’ve Been, a small poetry blog.

I’m that girl that laughs often, eats constantly, loves with reckless abandon. I always stops to smell the roses which I happen to have named after all my best girlfriends and still make out animal shapes in the abstract pattern of my shower wall.

I’m also a runner and snowboarder, it’s my personal nirvana.

How did you originally get invited to Google+?

A friend at Google was kind enough to send me an invite (thanks D!)

What benefits are you seeing from being in Google+?

Google+ allows me to be as public or private as I want, and share all the gifs I’ve saving on my computer for the past decade.

How does Google+ fit into your life or career?

I keep Facebook for my friends, and Twitter for most everything else, but Google+ allows me to meld the two together in a more visually appealing way. Plus, networking is terrific– on Twitter you have to search for usernames, manually add people into lists, go back and forth between profiles. G+ allows me to see who exactly I’m following and make new friends along the way.

For work, I see Hangouts definitely taking the place of Skype, especially for our monthly Tea and Toast meetings with our three global offices. No more worrying about paid accounts, different versions, or calling into the wrong numbers!

A particularly interesting story or thoughts you may want to add regarding Google+

Google+: it’s like Tumblr with user profiles!

Where can I find more information about this fabulous woman?

I’m a girl on the Internet. I work as a Content & Community Coordinator at a digital agency called Beyond, helping connect people with brands by creating content that people want to share. You can tweet me @_faith if you’re into nerdy humor and social media, or check out my budding food blog Czech-Fil-A!

How did you originally get invited to Google+?

Checked into Twitter on June 30th to find out that a bunch of people who I typically communicate with were getting in; begged for my invite! When I was finally able to log in, I actually had notifications from 6 other people, from various sources, who had also invited me. I felt well loved. :)

What benefits are you seeing from being in Google+?

Longer-form posts allow for more expressive posts. The 140 characters of Twitter was such a restriction. Inline previews for videos and links are also leading to higher engagement whether that be comments, +1′s, or shares.

How does Google+ fit into your life or career?

I’m a technologist. Google+ has been great for my peers and I to share news.

A particularly interesting story or thoughts you may want to add regarding Google+

I am happy to see Google “get it right” this time around.

Where can I find more information about this fabulous woman?

I think my Google+ bio speaks for itself!
