How did you originally get invited to Google+?
I was originally invited by my husband who received invites from some super cool guys at work.
What benefits are you seeing from being in Google+?
I have seen numerous benefits from Google+ some of the best are, instant news from all over the world directly from the real people who are experiencing it, it’s a great way to meet new people and in some ways has been a confidence builder for me, and being able to create custom circles which allows me to target specific audiences.
How does Google+ fit into your life or career?
I am a stay at home mom, I love being able to “hangout” with adults here and there through out my day it breaks up my day and gives me some adult stimulation. I own a business and circles also give me a chance to grab up data base people and keep them all in one place in case I have questions or want to bounce ideas off of other people.
A particularly interesting story or thoughts you may want to add regarding Google+
So far Google+ is proving to be a super fun, welcoming, fresh and open minded place to hangout I think we all needed this.

How did you originally get invited to Google+?
I was invited by my sister – who is also my best friend and sort-of boss/mentor. We write together online and she has coached me through growing my online persona and finding writing opportunities.
What benefits are you seeing from being in Google+?
I have been able to easily connect with people that share similar interests, views, and curiosities. I have one place where I can combine my writing, blogging, and crafts in one handy place. I can share each with a separate circle, or make my ventures public for anyone who dares to care.
I can also follow other fascinating people and find information and inspiration for my goals.
I love being able to organize my contacts. Sharing my research on education and homeschool to everyone on Facebook didn’t always go over very well. With Google+ I can share that exciting fodder with the people who will most want to see it. I can share funny stories about my kids with my family and friends.
How does Google+ fit into your life or career?
I stay at home with my 3 beautiful children, so finding opportunities to expand my career is limited to a few outside ventures and my online activities.
I can already see a great resource in G+ through Hangouts and Google Docs. I have worked on collaborations in the past to create curriculum and homeschooling resources. G+ will make communication and sharing progress even easier. It can be used as a central hub for projects and brainstorming.

I hope to open an Etsy shop soon selling purses and other accessories made from vintage re-purposed fabric and notions.

How did you originally get invited to Google+?
A kind soul, Amber Parrow (eletelephant), sent me an invite in the first days it opened.
What benefits are you seeing from being in Google+?
Currently, I feel like Google+ is a warm, cozy little web-pond for socialization and sharing. I used to be really into Twitter, and now find it to be, dare I say, over-saturated. For the time being, having the ability to share what I want, with who I want, will keep me in the pond, biting at the Google worm.
How does Google+ fit into your life or career?
I am currently a stay-at-home mom, in a new town, eating barbecue chips as we speak. I think a lot of moms can relate to feeling a little detached when going from working, to being an at home mommy. Google+ has really made socialization easier, and a lot of fun. I can’t say it enough: Circles, circles, circles. From sharing naughty jokes in one circle, to the current furniture design trends with another…circles are what is making this thing kick ass.

It’s only been a couple of weeks, don’t put me on the spot like that.

Joke telling, wide-footed, cookie maker.
I intend for you to one day buy my custom designed furniture and bathroom fixtures, love a good sketchbook filled with ink, have two darling children, and can probably out-shoot you in Call of Duty.
Sometimes I write and post pictures, you can find them on my Tumblr.
